Might seem strange to wear a thermal vest in the tropical Philippines but most of the time there is air-conditioning and you go from hot humid conditions outside to very cold conditions inside. The vest helps maintain a stead temperature. However, I wear it in the house as a top in place of a pyjama top and again it maintains a steady body temperature night and day.
